What Is the MCDCC?

We don't get paid. We don't get any glory. I'm running for this office—and asking for your vote—because the on-the-ground work of building the Democratic Party happens here.

Our mission is electing Democrats at all levels of government. Even in true-blue Montgomery County, we don't take Democratic voters for granted. We knock doors, make calls, hold listening sessions, recruit volunteers, and more.

Also, when a Democratic state delegate or senator from Montgomery County leaves office between elections, the Maryland Constitution tasks us with selecting who will fill the vacancy.
