Meet Sarah Brand-Wiita

A Proven Leader

In 2022, I was elected to the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee (MCDCC) as an At-Large member. I received 67,000 votes, more than any other MCDCC candidate.

Today, I serve as Precinct Organization Chair, managing the MCDCC's core volunteer program. MCDCC colleagues also elected me as Assistant Treasurer for the 2025-26 election cycle.

Right for the Job

I earned my MSc in Inequalities and Social Science from the London School of Economics because I know that economic and social inequality drive the most urgent challenges of our time.

With 14 years of professional experience in health economic consulting, I take a data-driven and innovative approach to my political work.

As a resident of Montgomery County since 2017, I understand the issues facing our community.

Last but most important: as a new mom, I am determined to give my son a free and peaceful country to grow up in.
